Morocco and Netherlands inked on Thursday, a joint action plan to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The action plan was signed by the Ambassador, Director General of Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Fouad Yazourh, and the Director-General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Thijs Van Der Plas, a joint press release said.
This Action Plan comes in the context of post-pandemic recovery. The two countries have emphasized the importance of strengthening the political dialogue to include all areas related to bilateral relations and define new innovative areas of cooperation to consolidate the partnership between the two countries.
Both sides agreed to ensure transparency in bilateral funding and to maintain an ongoing dialogue to facilitate regular information-sharing before NGO funding while respecting each country’s legal framework.
The main objective is to consolidate bilateral relations on sound and solid ground, in line with their ambitions and the great potential both countries offer, the release noted.
