The 47th session of the Arab Labor Conference kicked off, Sunday in Cairo, with the participation of Ministers of Labor and representatives of employers’ organizations and trade unions of Arab countries, including Morocco.
Morocco is represented at this conference, which will run until September 12, by a delegation composed of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Integration, Noureddine Benkhalil, and representatives of the Moroccan Employers’ Association (CGEM), the Federation of Moroccan Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services (FCMCIS), the General Union of Moroccan Workers (UGTM) and the Moroccan Union of Labor (UMT).
The meeting provides an opportunity for a constructive social dialogue between the parties to this event, say the organizers who stress that the post-pandemic recovery plans should be developed jointly at the Arab level.
