A private healthcare company in Morocco says it can reach patients in an average of 15 minutes, as it builds a service focused on emergency care before patients get to the hospital.

Omnidoc Santé says its goal is to shorten the time it takes to get medical help and to make sure patients receive the right care quickly, wherever they are.

In emergencies, every minute matters. Doctors often talk about the “golden hour” – the first hour after a serious accident or illness, when fast treatment can save a life. In Morocco, traffic in big cities and long distances in some areas can delay help.

Omnidoc Santé says it has placed mobile medical teams in key parts of several major cities to cut travel time. By spreading its teams out, it says it can respond faster, especially in life-threatening situations.

Each mobile unit includes an emergency doctor, a nurse and an ambulance worker. They do more than transport patients. They begin treatment on the spot, help stabilise the patient and prepare them for transfer to the most suitable hospital. The aim is to avoid any gap in care.

Omnidoc also uses a digital system to manage calls. When someone asks for help, the system checks how serious the case is and sends the nearest available team. Patient information can be shared with the hospital before arrival so staff can prepare in advance.

As well as emergency response, the company offers home doctor visits, nursing care, online consultations and medical transport. In more serious cases, it can arrange fully equipped ambulances or medical evacuation flights inside Morocco or abroad.
