Orange Maroc, through its Foundation, is expanding its “Écoles Numériques” (Digital Schools) program in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education. Starting from the 2024-2025 school year, 55 additional rural primary schools will be equipped with advanced digital tools, bringing the total number of beneficiary schools to 71. This large-scale initiative will reach an additional 17,000 students from 11 cities across various regions in Morocco, including Al Haouz, Al Hoceima, Berkane, Fahs Anjra, Mdiq Fnideq, Nador, Tanger Assilah, Tetouan, Errachidia, Guelmim, and Laâyoune.
The “Digital Schools” program provides schools with comprehensive digital kits, including laptops, projectors, servers with educational content, and internet access. Teachers also receive specialized training to seamlessly integrate these tools into their teaching methods.
Since its launch in Morocco in 2022, the program has already digitized 16 rural schools, positively impacting more than 4,000 students and 30 teachers. Building on this success, the initiative is now active in 17 African countries, benefiting over 500,000 students continent-wide.
Through this ambitious program, Orange Maroc and its Foundation reaffirm their commitment to digital inclusion and equal opportunities, ensuring that every child, regardless of location, can access the benefits of digital education.

An impact study conducted by the Orange Maroc Foundation on 475 students from rural schools benefiting from the program showed significant improvements in student behavior. The study highlighted increased curiosity, autonomy, and creativity among students, along with enhanced interaction with teachers and teamwork.
These advances are partly due to the specially designed digital applications and content developed in partnership with the Ministry of Education. Available in both French and Arabic, these tools make learning more engaging and effective.
These results reinforce the Foundation’s dedication to expanding the “Digital Schools” program and strengthening its partnership with the Ministry of Education.
