Rabat is set to host a major economic gathering on November 3 and 4, as the fifth edition of the Gulf-Morocco Investment Forum makes its way to the Moroccan capital. The high-level event is being spearheaded by the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Chambers, in collaboration with the GCC’s General Secretariat, Morocco’s leading business organization CGEM, and the Arab Gulf Media and Communication Agency.
The announcement was made this Sunday in Riyadh, during the signing of a cooperation agreement between the GCC Chambers Federation—represented by its Secretary General, Saleh Bin Hamad Al Sharqi—and the Arab Gulf Media Agency, led by Executive Director Mohamed Ait Bouselham. Under this agreement, the media agency will take charge of organizing and managing the forum.
This gathering is designed to deepen strategic ties between Morocco and the Gulf nations, with a clear focus on boosting investment flows, broadening the scope of economic cooperation, and strengthening the relationship between business communities on both sides.
Attendees can expect a full agenda, including investment opportunity presentations, one-on-one business meetings, expert panels, and in-depth discussions aimed at addressing trade and investment barriers. Far from being a symbolic event, the forum is being positioned as a hands-on platform to encourage real partnerships and joint ventures between private-sector players from Morocco and the Gulf.
Organizers hope the forum will do more than just make headlines. Their goal is to inject new momentum into regional economic collaboration, raising the level of trade and investment exchanges to a new standard.
