Radisson Hotel Group has named Hamid Sidine as its new Managing Director for Morocco. The decision takes effect immediately and aims to support the company’s fast growth in the country.

The hotel group plans to expand strongly in Morocco. It has set a target of reaching 30 hotels in the country by 2030.

Mr Sidine has more than 35 years of experience in the hotel industry. He has worked in Morocco, Tunisia, France, the Middle East, and parts of West and East Africa. During his career, he has managed several hotels, led new openings, improved existing properties, and worked with teams from different cultures.

He holds an MBA from Toulouse Business School and has completed leadership programmes at Harvard Business School.

“It is an honour to join Radisson Hotel Group at a time when Morocco is asserting itself as an essential hub for modern hospitality. I am determined to support our owners, our teams and our partners in delivering a vision of operational excellence and sustainable innovation, while actively contributing to the growth of tourism in the Kingdom,” Mr Sidine said.

Radisson is growing in major cities and tourist areas, including Marrakech and Casablanca, as well as coastal destinations such as Saïdia, Taghazout Bay and Al Hoceima. Some hotels are already open and others are being developed.

Mr Sidine is currently based in Marrakech. He will move to Casablanca after supervising the opening stages of new projects there, as the company strengthens its operations in Morocco.
