Royal Air Maroc has just been named the top airline connecting Spain to the African continent, earning top honors at the 30th edition of the Travelranking Awards—one of the most respected accolades in Spain’s tourism industry.

The awards ceremony took place on Thursday in Madrid, hosted by Agenttravel, a well-known trade publication in the travel sector. Each year, the event draws major players from the travel world, recognizing excellence across 29 different categories. When it comes to connecting Spain with Africa, Royal Air Maroc once again stood out as the clear favorite, chosen by a panel of 1,600 Spanish travel agents.

The airline’s strategic hub at Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport plays a key role in its success. From there, RAM offers an extensive network of flights to major cities across Africa, positioning itself as a natural gateway between Southern Europe and the African continent.

But it’s not just about connectivity. The airline has also invested in a modern fleet and elevated onboard service that emphasizes comfort, punctuality, and efficiency—factors that have become crucial for both business and leisure travelers.

By emerging as the go-to carrier for Spain-Africa routes, Royal Air Maroc is strengthening its reputation as a driver of regional integration and economic development. This latest award also reinforces Morocco’s image as a forward-looking nation playing a central role in African mobility and connectivity.
