Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced today the release of its new Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, alongside the Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro, at the “Galaxy Unpacked” event in Paris.

Samsung’s continued innovation in foldables has resulted in the thinnest and lightest Galaxy Z series ever, optimized for portability. The symmetrical design with a straight edge provides an elegant aesthetic finish, while a new cover screen ratio on the Galaxy Z Fold6 offers a more natural bar-type viewing experience. Alongside design improvements, the new Galaxy Z series is built for increased durability, providing greater peace of mind. The double rail hinge structure is supported by a reinforced folding edge, better distributing the impact of external shocks. Enhanced layers on the main screen improve the fold while maintaining strength. Samsung Notes’ Note Assist provides translations, summaries, and automatic formatting for simple and easy meeting notes. The Galaxy Z Fold6 lets you evolve the way you work, play, and stay informed through Samsung’s long collaboration with Google. The latest Google Gemini app is fully integrated into the new Galaxy Z series, providing your own AI-powered assistant directly on your phone. Simply swipe from the screen corner or say “Hey Google” to display the Gemini overlay for assistance with writing, learning, or planning. Gemini is integrated with some of your favorite Google apps, making it easy to organize a perfect travel itinerary by getting real-time flight and hotel booking information and exploring famous sites using Google Maps. While watching a K-pop video on YouTube on the Galaxy Z Fold6’s large screen, access the Gemini overlay in split-screen multi-window to ask questions. For detailed information about an artist in the video, press and hold the home button and circle, highlight, or tap the screen – Circle to Search will provide instant search results.
Galaxy AI has also enhanced seamless communication on the Galaxy Z Fold6. Maximizing its unique dual-screen form factor, the Interpreter tool features a new conversational mode allowing both parties to easily view translations on the main and cover screens for more natural interactions. It also offers one-way translation, making it easy to understand while listening during conferences or presentations. Live Translate, which translates phone calls in real-time directly on your device, is extended beyond Samsung’s native call app to select popular third-party apps.
From capture to editing to viewing, the AI-powered ProVisual Engine on the Galaxy Z Fold6 takes your creativity to the next level. The advanced editing experience with Photo Assist on the large screen helps create effortlessly professional-quality content. Portrait Studio creates a variety of different portrait styles like 3D cartoon or watercolor for more creative possibilities. If you want to enjoy every second with more detailed viewing, Instant Slow-mo lets you slow down a video instantly by generating additional frames while maintaining a smooth viewing experience. The Galaxy Z Fold6 not only allows you to create content but also to enjoy it. The Galaxy Z Fold6 offers an enhanced gaming experience, anchored by its powerful chipset and a 1.6 times larger vapor chamber to play longer while maintaining performance. Vivid and realistic graphics are supported by Ray Tracing and come to life on a 7.6-inch screen offering a brighter display up to 2,600 nits for a more immersive gaming experience.
Galaxy Z Flip6: Unique and personalized experiences
The Galaxy Z Flip6 is not only optimized for portability but also offers a range of new customization and creativity features to make the most of every moment.
The 3.4-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow has been further enhanced, allowing AI-assisted functions without even opening the device. Our opinion : The high price of the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 (starting from 1800 US dollars) raises some questions, particularly regarding their real accessibility for young consumers. Are these phones, despite their advanced innovations and features, truly suited to the needs and budgets of the youth? Can such an investment be justified for an audience often seeking devices that are both high-performing and affordable? These questions remain as Samsung continues to push the boundaries of mobile technology.
