Hassan II University of Casablanca and Teleperformance have inaugurated a new Career Orientation and Coaching Center (COC) at the Faculty of Legal, Economic, and Social Sciences (FSJES) Ain Chock. Designed to help students transition into the workforce, this center provides them with practical tools and career guidance to boost their employability.
This initiative stems from a strategic partnership between the university and Teleperformance, reflecting a proactive approach to bridging the gap between academia and the job market. Teleperformance not only funded the renovation and setup of the center but also offers a comprehensive program featuring workshops, conferences, and networking events with industry professionals.
Spanning over 100 square meters, the Career Orientation and Coaching Center is a hub for learning, exchange, and professional preparation. Its mission is clear: equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to confidently navigate their careers.
Houssine Azeddoug, President of Hassan II University, highlights the significance of this initiative: “This center is more than just a university service—it is a gateway to employment. It provides our students with essential cross-disciplinary skills and insight into professional expectations. Through this partnership, we are offering them real career opportunities.”
Teleperformance, which already hires a significant portion of its workforce from the Hassan II University network—over 60% in 2023—aims to expand this model to other institutions.
Damien Mellier, CEO of Teleperformance Africa, emphasizes the long-term vision: “We firmly believe in preparing young people for the workforce. This center is more than just a physical space—it is a career accelerator. It reflects our deep commitment to employability and talent development.”
Launched as a pilot project, the Career Orientation and Coaching Center could soon be extended to other Hassan II University campuses, particularly in cities where Teleperformance operates. The goal is to provide personalized career support and strengthen the synergy between higher education and the business world.
