As previously reported, Veolia, the majority shareholder of Lydec, has reached an agreement to sell its stake in Lydec to Société Régionale Multiservices (SRM) Casablanca-Settat.
In a recent announcement, Lydec informed the public and its stakeholders that Veolia has concluded a deal with the relevant Moroccan authorities to transfer its entire holding in Lydec to SRM Casablanca-Settat. This stake was acquired by Veolia during its takeover of Suez in 2022. The transaction is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2024, following the receipt of all necessary administrative approvals.
