15 research projects have been selected in the third edition of the call for projects on Medicinal and Aromatic plants (MAP), launched recently by the Department of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the National Agency for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (NAMAP) and the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (NCSTR).

A budget of 9 MDH is allocated to these 15 projects, benefiting from a tripartite financing, to which the Ministry, the Agency and the universities Hassan II, Chouaib Doukkali and Ibn Zohr of Agadir contributed.

According to a statement from the Ministry, 44 projects were submitted by carriers, from the three universities eligible for this 3rd edition :  the University Hassan II of Casablanca, the University Chouaib Doukkali of El-Jadida and the University Ibn Zohr of Agadir.

These projects were evaluated by experts affiliated with NCSTR and were ranked in order of merit by the steering committee of this program, explains the release, stating that given the total budget available and the relevance of the projects submitted, the steering committee of this program has selected 15 projects.
