Neo Motors has reached a historic milestone in Morocco’s industrial journey with the official unveiling of the Dial-E—its first fully electric utility vehicle designed, developed, and assembled entirely on Moroccan soil. Tailored for urban use and light logistics, the Dial-E is more than just a domestic achievement; it’s now the first Moroccan vehicle to earn full European certification, marking a major step forward with international implications.
Positioned as a practical, accessible solution for last-mile delivery, the Dial-E emphasizes simplicity, compact design, and functional autonomy. With a top speed of 85 km/h and a driving range of up to 150 kilometers, it can carry between 350 and 400 kilograms—offering a locally engineered answer to real-world business needs without compromising on technical standards.
The launch also marks the debut of E-NEO, a new sub-brand created by Neo Motors to focus exclusively on electric mobility. The name Dial-E draws from the colloquial expression “Diali,” meaning “mine,” underscoring a sense of personal connection between the vehicle and its users. Priced at 99,800 dirhams, the model aims to make electric transport genuinely affordable, both in Morocco and abroad.
The vehicle has been certified under the L7e-CU category, a stringent European classification that is rarely awarded to vehicles developed outside Europe or Asia. This recognition not only confirms the Dial-E’s compliance with EU safety and performance regulations but also opens the door to export opportunities—positioning Neo Motors as a serious player in the global shift toward electric vehicles.
This achievement comes at a time when Morocco is rapidly emerging as a key player in the global automotive industry. The country is on track to surpass Italy in production volume as early as this year. With the Dial-E, Neo Motors strengthens that trajectory by entering the international electric vehicle market with a utility-focused, entry-level offering—a smart move in a fast-evolving sector.
Founded in 2017, Neo Motors initially drew attention for assembling its first combustion-engine model locally. The pivot to electric marks a new chapter for the company, one that aligns with broader national goals around industrial sovereignty and environmental sustainability. By moving into EV production, Neo Motors supports Morocco’s ambitions to decarbonize transportation while boosting homegrown innovation.
The Dial-E will officially hit the market on January 1, 2026, and will come with a three-year warranty. But for Neo Motors, this isn’t just a product launch—it’s a statement of intent. The company sees the Dial-E as proof of Morocco’s growing industrial maturity and its ability to produce advanced, regulation-compliant vehicles. More than just a compact EV, the Dial-E symbolizes a fusion of innovation, technological independence, and national pride.
