Digital change can feel abstract until it lands in your city. That is the idea behind “Orange Meet”, a new nationwide roadshow launched to help Moroccan companies understand and use modern tech in practical ways.

The first stop was Tangier. The event was organised with the Moroccan Association of Information Systems Users. The aim is simple. Bring business leaders and tech experts together to share real solutions, not theory.

The Tangier event included a panel on how the region could look digitally by 2030, plus three hands-on workshops.

One session focused on the modern workplace. Discussions covered remote and hybrid work, faster internet through 5G, and tools that help teams communicate and collaborate securely.

Another workshop looked at the “smart factory”. Experts explained how private 5G networks, connected machines and tools like digital twins can help factories track performance in real time and prevent breakdowns.

A final session tackled cybersecurity. The focus was protecting company networks and keeping operations running when systems face online threats.

Orange Meet will now visit other regions across Morocco. The roadshow is designed to let business leaders learn from each other and find practical answers to everyday tech challenges.

The initiative sits within Orange Maroc’s wider “Lead the Future” plan, which centres on better mobile, fibre and cybersecurity services.
