Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay finished second in the wellness category at the Hotel & Lodge Awards 2026, which recognise outstanding hotel projects from around the world.
The award was given for the resort’s Medi-Spa, a 4,300-square-metre facility that focuses on preventive health and long-term wellbeing.
Dominique Di Daniel, General Director of Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay, said the recognition reflects “an ambitious vision of well-being that combines medical innovation with global health and longevity”.
The Medi-Spa offers personalised programmes for detox, sleep recovery, stress management and anti-ageing treatments. It also includes advanced diagnostic tools, regenerative therapies, a Watsu pool, a salt cave and a cryotherapy chamber.
The award comes as more luxury hotels expand beyond traditional spa treatments and invest in services aimed at improving long-term health.
Located in M’diq, Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay opened in summer 2024. The resort has 55 suites and villas on a private beach, with a dedicated butler assigned to each guest.
The property is also home to four restaurants led by Michelin-starred chefs Quique Dacosta, Éric Frechon and the Alajmo brothers.
The Hotel & Lodge Awards are organised each year by Hotel & Lodge magazine and Bleu Petrol, celebrating excellence in hotel design, architecture and guest experience.
