Three Moroccan players were among the 20 footballers whose market values increased the most after the World Cup, according to Football Benchmark.
The study looked only at performances during the tournament. It did not include any changes linked to summer transfers. The values were based on players’ clubs during the 2025/26 season.
Ismael Saibari had the second-biggest increase in the world. His value rose by €14.1 million, from €36.6 million in May to €50.7 million after the World Cup.
Saibari scored three goals in six matches. He also scored in the penalty shootout win over the Netherlands. He went into the tournament after winning Eredivisie Player of the Year with PSV Eindhoven and completing a move to Bayern Munich.
Azzedine Ounahi finished sixth on the list. His value increased by €10.2 million, from €13.1 million to €23.3 million.
Ounahi scored two goals, both in the second half of the 3-0 last-16 win over Canada. He played in a more attacking role throughout the tournament and became one of the team’s main creative players. Several Spanish clubs have been linked with a move for the midfielder.
Neil El Aynaoui ranked 17th. His value went up by €6.5 million, from €21.6 million to €28.1 million.
The AS Roma midfielder played in all six matches. He was one of the team’s key players in midfield and completed 115 passes against the Netherlands. His passing and defensive work helped the Atlas Lions reach the quarter-finals.
Switzerland’s Johan Manzambi topped the rankings with a €19.8 million increase, taking his value from €40.4 million to €60.2 million. Spain’s Pau Cubarsí came third with a €12.2 million rise.
