Alfa Romeo has launched the Stelvio Leil, a limited-edition version of its luxury SUV for North African markets, including Morocco. The company said the model focuses on style and attention to detail. “Sharp lines, an exceptional finish noticed at first glance. Passion lives in the details.”

The name Leil comes from the Arabic word for night. The SUV features black styling details, dark alloy wheels and a premium interior. Alfa Romeo created the edition to attract buyers looking for a more exclusive model.

Alfa Romeo is the premium brand of Stellantis NV. Founded in Milan in 1910, the company is known for its Italian design and racing history.

The Stelvio is a mid-size luxury SUV built at Stellantis’ Cassino plant in Piedimonte San Germano, Italy. It uses the Giorgio platform, which supports rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive models.

The SUV comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 280 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and Alfa Romeo’s Q4 all-wheel-drive system.

The Stelvio can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds. It also has a near-perfect 50:50 weight distribution and a carbon-fibre driveshaft to improve handling.

Inside, drivers get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.8-inch infotainment display.

Stellantis has been introducing region-specific limited editions to strengthen its premium brands. The Leil edition is part of that strategy, offering a model designed for customers who want a luxury SUV with a more distinctive look.
