AS FAR and Raja Casablanca now know who they could face in the second preliminary round of the 2026-27 CAF Confederation Cup.
The draw took place at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquarters in Cairo on Thursday.
Both clubs were given byes to the first preliminary round because of their CAF rankings. They are among several top African clubs that will start their campaigns in the second preliminary round in October. Al Ahly, USM Alger and CR Belouizdad also received byes.
AS FAR will play either Chad’s AS PSI or Ivory Coast’s CO Korhogo.
Raja Casablanca will face either Nigeria’s El-Kanemi Warriors or Guinea-Bissau’s UDIB.
The first preliminary round will be played over two legs in September. The first legs are scheduled for 4-6 September, with the return legs taking place from 11-13 September.
AS FAR and Raja Casablanca will enter the competition in the second preliminary round. The first legs will be played between 16 and 18 October, with the return legs set for 23-25 October.
The winners will qualify for the group stage, which begins in late November.
