RS Berkane and Maghreb de Fès (MAS) now know who they could face in the qualifying rounds of the 2026-27 CAF Champions League after the draw took place on Thursday at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquarters in Cairo.
RS Berkane received a bye to the first qualifying round because of their CAF ranking. The club will start in the second qualifying round against either Sierra Leone’s Star Sport Academy or Gambia’s Medina United. The winner will book a place in the group stage.
MAS will begin their campaign in the first qualifying round against Burkina Faso’s Rahimo FC.
If MAS qualify, they will play either Togo’s ASCK or Ivory Coast’s ASEC Mimosas in the second qualifying round.
First qualifying-round matches will be played on September 4, 5 and 6, with the return legs on September 11, 12 and 13.
Second qualifying-round first legs are scheduled for October 16 to 18. The return legs will take place on October 23 and 25 to decide the teams that will reach the CAF Champions League group stage.
