Global DJ and music producer Afrojack will kick off the 20th edition of the Mawazine Festival – Rhythms of the World with a major open-air concert on Friday, June 20, on the legendary OLM Souissi stage in Rabat. The anniversary edition promises to open with a blast, celebrating boldness, music, and unity.

Known worldwide for his hit “Never Forget You,” Afrojack will bring his signature energy and beats to Morocco’s capital for a massive, free show. The Grammy-winning, multi-platinum artist is behind global anthems like “Give Me Everything” (with Pitbull & Ne-Yo) and “Hey Mama” (with David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, and Bebe Rexha).

2025 marks a peak in his global journey: headliner at Ultra Miami, double appearance at Tomorrowland, Las Vegas residency, and a standout show at Coachella. Mawazine is proudly one of the key stops on his worldwide tour.

His latest track, “HELIUM” – a fiery collaboration with David Guetta and Sia – tops radio playlists around the globe. Afrojack is also known for constantly reinventing himself through side projects like Kapuchon (techno alias), AFROKI (with Steve Aoki), and AfroSalto (with Gregor Salto), as well as mentoring new talent via WALL PRO Academy, created in partnership with Tomorrowland.

With hundreds of millions of streams and fans across continents, Afrojack remains one of the most influential figures in electronic dance music. For its 20th edition, Mawazine is setting the bar high by honoring the genre at its peak.
