The “Mawazine Rhythms of the World” festival is gearing up to once again ignite the Moroccan capital from June 20 to 28, 2025. Now celebrating its 20th edition, the festival promises an unforgettable lineup—and one name already creating a buzz is Ans-T Crazy. The Guinean artist is set to take over the Bouregreg stage on June 25, bringing his explosive blend of dancehall, afrobeat, and traditional Guinean rhythms to Rabat.

A magnetic performer with boundless energy, Ansoumane Traoré—better known as Ans-T Crazy—has been turning heads ever since his early days in Conakry. Originally making his mark as a dancer and founder of the group Intouchable, he quickly emerged as a livewire talent on stage. He eventually struck out on his own musically, creating Laguida—a bold, hybrid style that fuses hip-hop, dancehall, and the folkloric sounds of his homeland.

Now 37, Ans-T Crazy has earned his place among the leading voices of Africa’s urban music scene. With hit albums and fan-favorite tracks like “Maman,” “3 Fois,” and “C’est sa tête,” he’s built a solid following across the continent. His hard work and originality paid off in 2023 when he picked up two AFRIMA Awards, including Best African Choreographer and Most Promising Artist.

His performance at Mawazine—held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI—is already shaping up to be one of the festival’s highlights. Known for spotlighting emerging talents and celebrating the rich musical diversity of Africa and beyond, Mawazine continues to transform the city into a sprawling open-air concert space each year.

Circle June 25 on your calendar, because when Ans-T Crazy hits the Bouregreg stage, it’s going to be more than a concert—it’ll be a full-force celebration of African urban culture. Get ready for a night where energy, rhythm, and raw talent collide in the heart of Rabat.
