On the sidelines of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE) hosted a high-level economic day entitled “Morocco Now”, dedicated to strengthening the strategic partnership between Morocco and the United Arab Emirates. Held under the theme “From Vision to Action: Morocco & UAE shaping a bright future together”, the event gathered leading public and private sector players from both countries, as well as prominent members of the Moroccan diaspora in the Gulf region.
This initiative aligns with Morocco’s national strategy to boost private investment and positions the Kingdom as a regional hub for investment and exports, connecting Africa to the Euro-Mediterranean zone. The discussions highlighted key structural reforms, promising sectors, and concrete project opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
The event saw the participation of top institutional figures, including His Excellency the Ambassador of His Majesty the King to the UAE, the Delegate Minister in charge of Investment, the Directors General of AMDIE, CDG and Casablanca Stock Exchange, along with senior representatives from CGEM and Casablanca Finance City.
This strong engagement underscores the strategic importance Morocco places on its economic ties with the UAE — a trusted regional ally — and reflects a shared ambition to shape a resilient, forward-looking partnership built on mutual prosperity.
