The 7th edition of the International Africa Development Forum (FIAD), organized by Attijariwafa Bank and supported by Al Mada, continues into its second day under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The morning session was highlighted by two significant events: the awarding of the “South-South Cooperation Trophies” and the “Young Entrepreneur Trophies.”

Mohamed El Kettani, CEO of Attijariwafa Bank, remarked, “These awards reflect the dynamic spirit of an entire continent on the move, particularly its youth.”

These awards honor companies that have shown exceptional commitment to promoting intra-African trade. The winners are:

  • Gold Prize: Tijani Ben Al Houssein, CEO of Oil Star Oil (Mauritania) – Sector: Oil & Gas.
  • Silver Prize: Hassan Dakhlallah, CEO of PORTEO BP (Ivory Coast) – Sector: Construction.
  • Bronze Prize: Nouzha Taarji, General Manager of Energy Transfo (Morocco) – Sector: Electrical Solutions.
Young entrepreneurs Trophies

Under the aegis of the Al Mada Foundation, these trophies celebrate young African entrepreneurs making significant impacts in their fields. The winners are:

  • Gold Trophy: Henri Diale, CEO of Congo PLAST (Congo) – Sector: Environment. Prize: 250,000 DH
  • Silver Trophy: Youssef Bouyakhf, CEO of Deep ECHO (Morocco) – Sector: Health. Prize: 200,000 DH
  • Bronze Trophy: Ako Joelle Agborndang, CEO of ICLAN (Cameroon) – Sector: Education/Fintech. Prize: 100,000 DH
  • Special Mention: Andress Paulinestie Bellina Loemba, CEO of GAZ TECH (Congo) – Sector: Energy/Fintech. Prize: 50,000 DH
