From April 3 to 5, 2025, the cities of Rabat and Casablanca will come alive with the energy of spontaneous performance as they host the 6th edition of the Morocco International Improvisation Festival (FIIM). With an exciting lineup, high-profile guests, and a fiercely creative competition, this year’s festival promises to be an unmissable event for comedy lovers and improv enthusiasts alike.
For 2025, FIIM expands its reach by staging performances in both Rabat and Casablanca, offering audiences a full immersion into the art of improvisation. Four teams representing Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and Morocco will go head-to-head in fast-paced improv matches and innovative showcases where anything can happen. Each night, spectators will be treated to two completely original performances, ranging from competitive improv battles to cabaret-style acts and fresh, experimental formats.
In a first for FIIM, stand-up comedy will take center stage alongside improvisation. Between performances, sharp-witted comedians will take the mic, adding a new layer of energy to the festival. Among the featured stand-up acts from the Mad Comedy Club:
Ethan Lallouz – A Moroccan comedian based in Paris, Lallouz is a regular at top venues such as La Petite Loge and Le Métropole. Having shared the stage with Gad Elmaleh, he also made a splash at the 2024 Paris Comedy Festival.
M’Bark Magdy – A rising star in the stand-up scene, Magdy has performed at The Fridge Comedy Club and the Esplanade du J4. His razor-sharp humor is sure to ignite this year’s edition.
