Morocco’s World Cup win over the Netherlands has sparked huge demand from fans hoping to watch the team’s next match in the United States. In response, Royal Air Maroc has announced 12 special direct flights between Casablanca and Houston for supporters travelling to the Round of 16.
The flights will offer more than 3,000 seats and will be the first direct services the airline has ever operated to Houston.
Morocco will play Canada in the Round of 16 on Saturday, 4 July, in Houston, Texas.
Round-trip economy tickets cost a fixed 10,000 Moroccan dirhams, including taxes. The promotional tickets cannot be changed or refunded.
Ticket sales opened at 10:00 on Wednesday, 1 July. Fans can buy tickets at Royal Air Maroc agencies across Morocco or through the airline’s dedicated online booking portal.
