In 2023, five European Union countries stood out for having the highest approval rates for Schengen visas requested by Moroccan citizens. Leading the pack was Switzerland, which approved 3,415 applications, boasting an approval rate of 83.9%. Notably, Switzerland also issued 82% of these visas as multiple-entry, placing it just behind Germany (85.19%) and Austria (89.2%) in this category.
According to data from Schengen Visa Info, France also played a significant role, approving 251,950 visas with an approval rate of 81.3%. Among these, 134,153 were multiple-entry visas, representing 52.25% of all approved visas.
Poland followed with an 83.1% approval rate for the 693 applications it received. Portugal approved 1,902 out of 2,376 applications, marking an 80.1% success rate. Lastly, the Czech Republic recorded a 75.6% approval rate out of 664 applications.
These figures highlight the countries within the Schengen Zone where Moroccans have had the most success in securing visas, with Switzerland, France, and Poland leading the way.
