The city of Tiznit is set to become a hub for technological innovation with the creation of the Technopark Tiznit, a project financed by a budget of 5 million dirhams. This initiative, led by the Tiznit Commune, is focused on supporting startups in the tech sector and offering solutions for smart systems and modern technologies.

The Technopark aims to guide project leaders and digital entrepreneurs as they navigate the business world, fostering wealth creation and sustainable, inclusive development across the region. The facility will feature dedicated spaces for small and medium-sized enterprises, co-working areas, a training room, a meeting space, a reception area, and administrative offices.

In a statement to the Moroccan Press Agency, Ibrahim Lkaddi, vice-president of the Tiznit Commune in charge of public works, highlighted the project’s importance in aligning with the province’s dynamic growth. He emphasized that the Technopark will create new job opportunities and serve as a platform for unlocking the talents of local youth.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the business climate in the Souss-Massa region, stimulate entrepreneurship, and provide a launching pad for innovative projects. It joins a network of similar structures in cities such as Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Agadir, and the Souss-Massa Innovation City.

The Technopark Tiznit reflects a commitment to positioning the region as a key player in Morocco’s technological and entrepreneurial landscape, paving the way for sustainable growth and development.
