Worqbox, a Moroccan group that supplies flooring and wall-covering products, has received ISO 9001:2015 certification for its operations. TÜV NORD CERT GmbH awarded the certification to the group. The move comes as Worqbox works to expand its business in Morocco, the Middle East and Africa.
The company was founded in 1984 and now has 10 specialised brands. CEO Mehdi Ktiri has also led changes to the group’s structure, including the creation of an advisory board with five independent directors.

Worqbox has also changed how it manages its daily operations. The group has standardised processes covering supply chains, order tracking and customer service.
The company runs the Worqbox Academy, which trains architects, resellers and craftspeople on installation methods and product use.
Worqbox serves residential, commercial, hospitality and public-sector clients. Its services include flooring and wall-covering products, technical advice and installation.
The group plans to use the new quality-management system to expand its product range, develop new partnerships and enter more markets in the MENA region and beyond.
ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard for quality-management systems. It covers areas such as customer focus, consistent processes and continuous improvement.
