After acquiring a 51% stake in Akdital Immo in January 2022, Aradei Capital is now set to purchase the remaining shares from the two co-founders: Akdital (31.85%) and BFO Foncière (17.15%). The total value of the transaction is approximately 268 million dirhams. The agreements were signed on June 11, 2024, and the completion of this transaction is pending approval from the Competition Council.

Akdital Immo owns operational healthcare facilities located in strategic cities across Morocco, including Tangier, El Jadida, Agadir, Salé, and Safi, with a capacity of over 1,000 beds.

These healthcare units are operated by Akdital under long-term lease agreements. They offer high-quality, accessible healthcare services covering oncology and various multidisciplinary specialties, including surgical and interventional cardiology.

Akdital Immo’s real estate portfolio boasts a gross leasable area (GLA) of over 80,000 square meters and was valued at nearly 900 million dirhams as of December 2023.

Dr. Rochdi Talib, CEO of Akdital, commented, “Akdital’s exit from Akdital Immo’s shareholding is part of our strategy to refocus on our core activity, which is the operation of healthcare facilities. We thank our partners, Aradei Capital and BFO Foncière, for the success of our partnership and the achievements we have accomplished together over the years.”

Nawfal Bendefa, CEO of Aradei Capital, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are excited about the achievements with our partners. The opportunity for Aradei Capital to become a 100% shareholder allows the company to strengthen its position in the strategic healthcare sector through a vehicle of operational and high-performing real estate assets.”

Mohammed Bouzoubaa, CEO of BFO Foncière, added, “Akdital Immo has successfully completed its investment plan. Our participation ends with the stabilization of the delivered assets.”
