Hundreds of Crédit du Maroc employees laced up their running shoes and joined nearly 10,000 people at this year’s Bouskoura 15km race, one of the biggest sporting events in the Casablanca-Settat region.
The bank took part under the slogan “One Team… One Run”, with the focus on teamwork rather than individual results.
Employees from across the organisation joined the race, aiming to support one another and cross the finish line together.
“For us, the goal was not to focus on individual times but to help every member of the team reach the finish line,” said participant Kamel Jamali.
Another participant, Soukaina Taoussi, said the race has become a popular event among Crédit du Maroc staff.
“It gives us a chance to step away from the office and strengthen our relationships in a more relaxed atmosphere,” she said.
Held in Bouskoura since 2014, the annual race has become one of the region’s best-known sporting events. It brings together amateur and experienced runners, along with families and supporters.
This year’s event attracted close to 10,000 participants to the 15km course, which runs through roads and forest tracks in the Bouskoura area.
Crédit du Maroc sees sport as a way for colleagues to connect outside work while encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle.
