Attijariwafa Bank has once again secured its position as the leading institution in Morocco’s vehicle tax payment campaign, marking its ninth consecutive year at the top. As of January 31, 2025, the bank accounted for 25% of all vignette and axle tax payments, both in terms of volume and number of transactions. In total, 818,000 vignettes were processed through the bank’s various distribution channels.
Beyond its dominance in tax payments, Attijariwafa Bank enhances its automotive services through complementary insurance offerings from Wafa Assurance, providing tangible benefits to policyholders.
The bank’s continued success is largely fueled by the strong adoption of its digital platforms, including Attijarinet, Attijari Mobile, Attijari CIB, and Attijari Entreprises. These channels have seen remarkable growth, reflecting the shift toward digital transactions. At the same time, the bank’s extensive physical network—including Attijariwafa Bank branches, its subsidiary Wafacash, and the Fawatir-affiliated network with over 8,000 service points—has played a key role in maintaining its leadership.
By mobilizing its resources and expertise, Attijariwafa Bank once again reaffirms its commitment to supporting national initiatives, particularly Morocco’s digital transformation efforts.
