FC Barcelona is strengthening its footprint in Morocco with the opening of a new Barça Academy in Casablanca. This initiative is part of the Catalan club’s broader expansion strategy and follows the success of the Barça Academy in Rabat. The launch of this second academy in Morocco highlights the club’s commitment to developing football talent in the Kingdom. The Barça Academy in Casablanca is set to open its doors in September, with plans to welcome around 500 young players, both boys and girls. These aspiring footballers will receive training focused on the playing principles and values that have made Barça a global football powerhouse.

It’s noteworthy that this new academy marks the 28th of its kind worldwide, adding to Barça Academy’s presence in 48 countries across five continents, including its campuses and training camps. The main goal of the “Barça Academies” is to provide comprehensive training in line with the Club’s philosophy while promoting its brand image. “Football and sports, in general, are tools of social cohesion, and Barça is a global driving force for these values that it brings to society,” stated the leaders of the Catalan club.
