Neo Motors, the leading Moroccan car manufacturer, opened its first showroom in Rabat last Friday, marking a significant milestone in the country’s automotive industry. During the grand opening, keys were handed over to a select group of privileged customers, who are now the proud owners of Neo Motors vehicles, all designed and manufactured in Morocco.
The Rabat showroom showcases the brand’s inaugural model, tailored to meet the unique needs of the local market. This model combines high performance, safety, and environmental consciousness, serving as a preview of a forthcoming range of vehicles, including electric models, that underscore Neo Motors’ commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility.
“This first Neo Motors showroom is the realization of a dream,” stated Nassim Belkhayat, the founder and CEO of Neo Motors. “We envisioned this location four years ago, even before the factory was built and the prototype was designed. Our vision was to proudly wave the Moroccan flag with the country’s first automotive brand,” he added.
Belkhayat expressed his excitement at presenting Neo Motors’ vehicles to customers, who can now test drive, experience, and order their cars directly from this site.
He also revealed that Neo Motors plans to expand its national presence by opening around fifteen additional showrooms across Morocco. This expansion will be in collaboration with the Marjane Group and Speedy Maroc, the latter providing after-sales service for the vehicles.
This success story is attributed to fruitful collaborations with esteemed Moroccan companies such as Crédit Agricole du Maroc (CAM), Crédit Immobilier et Hôtelier (CIH), and financial institutions Sofac and Wafasalaf, all of which have supported Neo Motors in its growth and development.
