Football fans at Wydad Athletic Club will soon see a new name on their team’s kit. The car brand has signed a partnership with the Casablanca club, one of the most popular in the country. Its logo will appear on the shoulder of Wydad’s official shirts, and it will also be visible around the stadium during home matches.
Wydad will receive a fleet of FIAT vehicles to help with travel and day-to-day operations. The models will be revealed during the early stages of the deal.
Wydad players from the first team will feature in advertising campaigns, alongside online content and fan activities.
The deal also covers the club’s women’s team and includes support for its youth academy, with a focus on young players.
Yves Peyrot Des Gachons, head of Stellantis in Morocco, said: “FIAT has not only chosen a club, FIAT has chosen a passion that brings Moroccans together. This partnership is part of our ambition to become a mobility brand that is ever closer to people, their habits and what drives them every day.”
Wydad president Hicham Aït Menna said: “This partnership with FIAT is built on values we share: authenticity, commitment, team spirit and pride. Together, we want to energise a community that shares a common passion: football.”
The first activities linked to the partnership are expected at the start of the 2026–2027 season. They will include matchday events, online campaigns and competitions aimed at bringing fans closer to the Fiat brand.
